Our usual practice regarding the performance of geotechnical studies is to define the purpose of the investigations, to directly supervise the field works as well as the laboratory analyzes performed by our specialized subcontractors and to elaborate the geotechnical study.
As designers and consultants in the specialty of structural and geotechnical engineering, we focus our efforts on providing the geotechnical information necessary for a safe and economical specialized design. Thus, we successfully took over the responsibility of field investigations, design and verification of works for many large projects in Romania.
Our geotechnical design team analyzes the data obtained from the investigations and, through multiple correlations and current interpretations, provides the closest geotechnical parameters for the situation encountered in the field.

The company is based on the analyzes performed and the proposed solutions for excavations and foundations on an advanced calculation, through the use of high-performance programs, programs based on the finite element method. The proposed solutions are analyzed both from the point of view of construction strength and safety, but also from an economic and technological point of view.
Over time, Popp & Asociații has proposed pioneering solutions and technologies in Romania, top-down technology, the first office building with seismic shock absorbers, the first enclosure support work based on jet-grouting technology. ).
In order to provide a complete package of services, we have focused our efforts on obtaining complete and efficient information following the monitoring works, implementing complex and modern solutions and making unitary, objective and coherent interpretation reports, in accordance with the works carried out. .
We have high-performance, state-of-the-art equipment for advanced works, and the specialized field staff is specially trained for the types of works we perform.
