Dacia One Multifunctional Building is a construction ensemble that resulted in the consolidation and restoration of the Cesianu House, the demolition (with the preservation of the facade) of the former performance hall of the Soviet Colony (later the Constantin Tănase performance hall) and the construction of a new building.
The project benefited from more experience and services or specialized teams, including our technical expertise and monitoring services.
Following the execution of the works, weekly, for 8 months, our team ensured the monitoring of the excavation and the neighboring constructions.
We are currently monitoring during operation.
With specialized equipment, we took care of:
1) measurement of groundwater level in 5 piezometric wells, 3 inside the excavation (used as depletion wells) and 2 outside (to monitor the influence of depletion on the surrounding land);
2) inspection of 5 neighboring buildings, installation of about 20 crack witnesses and measurement of their opening;
3) measuring the vertical displacements of the neighboring constructions by means of about 52 topographic marks.
For deep excavation monitoring, the following were installed:
-7 inclinometers (I1 ÷ I7) with a depth of 24 m, driven with the base 8 m below the lower level of the enclosure wall;
-18 topographic marks (MG1 ÷ MG18) installed on the crown beam;
-2 tasometric devices (S1 – S2) with a depth of 50 m from the natural terrain, with 22 magnetic marks.
