The main objective of the investment is to increase the treatment capacity and optimize the functioning of the institution, increase the comfort for patients and staff in the Emergency Department, ensuring the safety of medical care.
The interventions were aimed at preserving the coherence of the ensemble and rehabilitating the built environment.
The project involves:
- 1. The extension of Ward C by partial dismantling Ward C2, the hallway and sterilization station no. 2 in the entrance area to Ward C;
- 2. Construction of a new pavilion (GF+2F+Attic) with a medical function;
- 3. Modernizing and reorganizing the existing emergency section: utility connections.
Stages covered:
- – Analysis of the existing situation and 3D laser scanning;
- – Building Information Modeling (BIM);
- – Urban and functional analysis;
- – Proposal of the technical solution – Between two existing buildings, it was proposed to insert a new building with medical functions and direct connections to the current infrastructure of the existing hospital. Criteria of functional efficiency, compliance with current standards, legislation and architectural integration with the existing ensemble were pursued;
- – Technical and economic evaluation.
