This year, 9 students from the Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Buildings signed up and participated in the specialized trainee program organized by our company.
As every year, the program lasted for a month, during which the participants had an integrated experience, having the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on structural design and adjacent fields, such as 3D modeling and detailing of structures or 3D laser scanning of existing constructions. The internship was coordinated by our colleagues from the Design department and was focused on the concrete application of theoretical knowledge, by working in specific calculation and modeling software.
Also, in order to correlate what they find out in the office with the reality in the field, the students also participated in 2 work visits to construction sites in Bucharest. The structural design of these buildings was made by our team and now we provide technical assistance during the execution.
With the help of our partners, Rawlplug Romania, Graitec Romania and Hilti Romania, we were able to present students with information about the latest technologies and products in the field of fasteners and chemical anchors and about software that streamlines and optimizes the design process.
We trust that the information found during the internship was useful and relevant to the students. By going through this experience, they have had the opportunity to discover if this field seems right for them and have more data to help them decide on the job they want to pursue.
