The project included: technical expertise of the structure, specialized studies and 3D laser-scanning.
The on-site reality was challenging, given the high level of detailing, especially in the decorative elements of the facades.
The 3D laser scanning process meant:
- – 254 scanning stations with 62% overlap
- – average distance between stations: 5 m
- – 2 days of scanning
As the building is a historical monument, photogrammetry was an optimal solution that played an important role in obtaining complex 3D details where access was limited. Using a drone, details of the façade, including the roof dome, were captured.
Deliverables:
- – Basement plan, ground floor, first floor, attic; roof plan, facade plan and geometry perspectives;
- – 1 cross section and 1 longitudinal section;
- – 3D BIM models containing geometry, relationships and construction sequences;
- – data and information on materials, technical specifications and performance;
- – specialized studies;
- – technical expertise.
