I joined the Popp & Asociații team immediately after graduating, having already collaborated with it even during the final years of study. We started as a young engineer, and with the passage of time and the accumulation of professional experience, the evolution was a natural one, going through all the stages and hierarchical steps of our company: Engineer, Project Manager and then Senior Project Manager. Starting with 2012, I manage the entire activity of the Design Department of Popp & Associations.
I am currently coordinating a group of about 40 engineers and technicians. Together we form a team ready to overcome the current requirements of the design market and accept new challenges, our projects being often works with compositions and functions that go beyond the scope of the usual projects.
In the more than 15 years since I have been part of the Popp & Asociații team, I have participated in the elaboration of large-scale projects, buildings of over 20 floors, buildings with 3 to 5 basements, technical expertise and consolidation projects of historical monument buildings. , stadiums with over 30,000 seats or the extension of the main airport in Romania.
Regarding professional development, I consider it extremely important to know the evolution of the design market, with the latest technologies and solutions applied in the design of structures. Thus, together with the Popp team, I encourage and participate directly in the elaboration of scientific articles that describe the challenges encountered and the solutions developed by us in the realized projects, many of them being appreciated and awarded in the specialized technical conferences. At the same time, in 2013 we obtained the certification of certified verifier of projects, requirement A1 and A2.
I can say that I grew up with Popp & Associates. In 2004, we joined a team in training, consisting of only five engineers working together from an apartment in Bucharest. The core at that time has now developed into a team of over 70 professionals who together form the Popp & Asociații group of companies.
