We provided Construction Management services for the construction of 8 new educational facilities (kindergartens and after-school) in Sector 6, buildings that comply with the nZEB energy efficiency standard.

Buildings constructed to nZEB (“nearly Zero-Energy Building”) standards have near-zero energy consumption, so very high energy performance, and the energy requirement is covered mostly from renewable sources, including locally generated renewable energy.

To ensure the energy consumption of a near-zero energy building, renewable resources (renewables) will cover at least 30%, up to 51% of the total calculated primary energy of the building’s energy performance, mainly in the form of photovoltaic (PV) but also solar thermal panels.
