On 18 and 19 May, our colleagues from the design department attended the 31st edition of the AICPS National Conference, the most important event in Romania dedicated to structural design.
The conference, entitled “Style | Structure | Sustainability”, gathered for two days over 350 specialists from Romania and abroad. The community of structural engineers and partners from related fields had the opportunity to exchange information and ideas, learn news and debate current technical topics. During the two days, more than 30 presentations and technical debates were held in plenary and parallel sessions. Three of our colleagues shared their experience in the presentations they held:
Ștefan Grigoraș, Eng.: Design of a framed structure using (buckling-restrained braces – BRBs);
Vlad-Cristian Dinu, Eng.: Resistance structure of the Valentin Stănescu Stadium, Bucharest;
Dragoș Marcu, Eng.: Current challenges and perspectives in the approach to the consolidating the built fund.
The conference is organised by the Romanian Association of Structural Design Engineers (AICPS) and this year’s edition took place in Timisoara.
